    Day 13. Würzburg

    Day 1. Arrive Prague

    Welcome to Prague, a city where stone bridges, Gothic cathedrals and golden towers are all overseen by a commanding castle. Be met at the airport and transported to your hotel. This evening, get to know your fellow travellers at a Welcome Reception.

      Day 2. Prague

      Today’s exploration commences with a guided tour of the Old Town, Prague’s historic World Heritage-listed city centre. Visit the impressive Prague Castle courtyard and St Vitus Cathedral, which dominates the pretty city skyline. Believed to date back to the 9th century, the castle complex – with its fascinating network of palaces and churches – is considered to be the largest in the world. You’ll then wander to Charles Bridge and cross this Czech landmark, which straddles the beautiful Vltava River. Finally, you’ll arrive in Prague’s Old Market Square and stop for some time to browse through the wooden stalls. A Taste of Prague – visit Nelahozeves Castle, a regal Renaissance residence set high above the Vltava River.       Day 10. Regensburg

      Day 11. Nuremberg

      Glide over the Main-Danube Canal, crossing Europe’s Continental Divide (435 metres above sea level) thanks to the canal’s 16 stair-step locks. Continue to Nuremberg, the site of Hitler’s now infamous rallies. Held annually from 1927 to 1938, Nuremberg played a pivotal role for the Nazis during World War II.       Day 15. Rüdesheim, Koblenz

      Your ship docks in Rüdesheim this morning, the perfect example of a Rhine Gorge wine town. Here, the Winzerexpress mini-train will take you through town to Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum, which houses the most beautiful collection of automated musical instruments in Germany. Continue cruising to a true highlight of the holiday – the awe-inspiring spectacular wonder of Rhine Gorge, considered by locals to be the most beautiful section of the Rhine River. Watch in delight as steep slopes covered in vineyards, dotted with ancient castles drift past. Enjoy dinner back on board this evening as your journey continues to Andernach.
