In 2018, Michelle returned home to New Zealand from working as a Tour Director in the northern hemisphere, to find a renewed sense of appreciation for her homeland. Hear why she's looking forward to sharing this scenically gifted nation's culture and views with you, in the video below.
Returning home after studying and working overseas for five years, Michelle really liked the idea of getting back to her roots. Working as a Tour Director has helped her to rediscover her homeland. Discoveries she loves sharing with you.
“There’s so much that I didn’t know about my own country, and on every trip I learn something new, from Maori history to geology.” Touring New Zealand’s dramatic mountains, lush forests and craggy coastlines has given her a newfound appreciation of her country’s natural diversity.
In fact Michelle now loves nothing more than to explore the epic landscapes of her native New Zealand with guests. For her, the highlight of each trip is arriving at Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park on New Zealand's South Island. “You drive in and there’s this turquoise-blue lake on your right and the mountain in all its glory directly ahead of you on the road. That’s just magic for me. I take probably as many photos as the guests do if I’m honest!”
Travel is calling. Let’s get back out there!
