Where are you located?

What do you love most about your job?

My job entails taking groups of guests by coach and by air through Australia. I love the diversity of our natural landscape and the culture that goes with it.

How long have you worked for the company?

I have been a Tour Director of 25 years and nearly 20 years with Travelmarvel. I love the variety and quality of the tours that we do and being part of a family-based Australian company.

What has been your favourite on-tour moment?

So many! But it’s seeing the guests experience something they have always wanted to experience like snorkelling on the reef, the sunrise at Uluru, or fields of wildflowers in WA. Then there's the incredible spectacle of flying over Lake Eyre in flood or the unique experience of landing a small plane on an isolated coastline in the Kimberley.

What does travel mean to you?

For me it's a lifestyle in which every day is different. You never know what will happen.

What destination is 'calling you?

Overseas I would have to pick Iceland and Greenland. In Australia it would be between Lake Mungo, a New South Wales national park rich in Indigenous culture; a  Kimberley Coast cruise or heading out anywhere into the Outback.

Answer the Call

If the Outback is calling you, why not join our 7 Day Red Centre Escape tour to discover the heart of Australia through Alice Springs, Uluru and Kings Canyon? Enjoy walks around these Australian icons, while learning about Indigenous culture. Also not to be missed is the Field of Light spectacular.
