Arrive Yangon, Mandalay, Embark Ship
On arrival in Yangon, you’ll be met and transferred to your domestic flight bound for Mandalay. Once you’ve landed, you’ll be whisked to the port where you will board the RV Princess Panhwar in time for a late lunch. In the afternoon, disembark to visit Shwenandaw Monastery and Kuthodaw Pagoda before a Welcome Dinner and a cultural show back on board this evening.

Explore Mandalay’s Mahamuni Buddha Temple, where you can see sheets of gold leaf being added to a statue of the Mahamuni Buddha.
Visit the incredible U-Bein Bridge, the world’s oldest and longest teak-wood bridge, and enjoy a boat ride as the sun sets behind the icon.
This morning, cruise to Mingun to see the incomplete Pahtodawgyi Pagoda, as well as the Mingun Bell and striking white Myatheindan Pagoda. In the afternoon, enjoy an Insider Experience. Afterwards, explore a silk workshop and learn about the ancient and beautiful practice before browsing some of the wares. Later, a delicious dinner is served back on board this evening.Daily :
In Sagaing, explore one of the country’s most memorable sites, Soon Oo Ponya Shin Pagoda. Striking with its golden facade, it is incredibly peaceful to witness locals flock to the religious site for worship. Spend some time learning about the structure and its history which dates back to the early 1300s before visiting a local silversmith’s workshop. Here you can take the chance to learn about the practice of making silverware before rejoining your ship.Daily :
Yandabo, Pakokku, Bagan
In Pakokku, spend your time exploring the many workshops of the town, including cheroot (a type of local cigar), longyi (fabric) and blankets.
Today tour Yandabo, the site of where the Treaty of the First Anglo-Burmese War was signed. This town is also famous for its beautiful terracotta pots, made from the local riverbank clay. In the afternoon, you can view the point where the Irrawaddy and Chindwin rivers meet. The afternoon is spent in Pakokku, famous for its many different exports. Reboard your ship this evening to watch a traditional puppet show and enjoy dinner.Daily :
At sunrise, perhaps ride a hot air balloon over the pagodas of Bagan (at your own expense). Enjoy a full day to discover Bagan, beginning with a visit to the Ananda Temple. This beautiful structure was heavily influenced by northern Indian architecture, and has been wonderfully restored since an earthquake in 1975. This morning you’ll also experience a local dance and visit a lacquerware workshop. Later, a tour of Bagan takes you to Htilominlo Temple and onwards for sunset views.Daily :
Start the day with a visit to the Nyaung U Market and mingle with the locals as you browse the wares. Next, it’s on to the golden Shwezigon Pagoda, one of the country’s most significant religious sites. Return to the ship for lunch before a discovering Yoke Sone Kyaung Monastery and Mann Paya Pagoda in Salay.Daily :
Sail onwards, reaching Mya Tha Lun Pagoda which overlooks the Irrawaddy. After lunch disembark to explore the stunning gilded pagoda, as well as a Buddhist nunnery and the downtown of Magwe. This evening, enjoy a final dinner on board.Daily :

Head to Singuttara Hill and marvel at the striking Shwedagon Pagoda.
Your Irrawaddy cruise ends today as you disembark in Magwe and transfer to the airport for your flight to Yangon, enjoying a light lunch on board. After checking in to your hotel, the centrally located Pullman Yangon Centrepoint, it’s time to explore the sights of the city. Head to Kandawgyi Lake for a photo stop. This evening, a delicious dinner is served at your hotel.

Savour breakfast at your hotel this morning, and then maybe head off on an optional select experience. You might venture to the township of Dala for an early morning tour. Or maybe set off on a history tour instead (both at additional surcharge). The afternoon is set aside for a Bogyoke Market visit and walking tour of the colonial buildings and architectural relics of Pansodan Street. You might also like to pause for a photo of Sule Pagoda. Visit Indein village, catching a glimpse of farmers and buffalo on the river banks. Walk through a cluster of hundreds of ancient stupas. This evening, enjoy a Farewell Dinner with your fellow travellers.Daily :
