Today you will come face to face with the iconic Terracotta Warriors. Built as a replica of the First Emperor of China’s army, the life-sized statues were designed to serve and protect him in death. Sleeper Train to Tibet
Embark on a journey on the world's highest railway, the Sleeper Train to the Himalayan Kingdom of Tibet. This pioneering railway line is a spectacular feat of modern construction and an amazing act of engineering.
Board your flight from Xi'an and travel to the city of Xining, where you’ll travel onwards to Tibet. As the sun goes down amid the Himalayas this evening, settle in for a night on board the train and be prepared to awake in stunning surrounds.
