From Dublin, begin your rail journey through Ireland’s lush rolling countryside. On arrival in Cork, relish some free time. This morning, learn about the history of transatlantic passenger flights at the Foynes Flying Boat & Maritime Museum. Then, indulge in a cup of Irish coffee while in Foynes, the location this popular drink was invented. After, board a ferry from Tarbert across the Shannon Estuary to Clare, travelling onwards by coach to the village of Doolin. Embark on a boat trip to witness the impressive Cliffs of Moher from the Atlantic Ocean below. Be awed by these rugged cliffs, which reach a height of 214 metres, and keep a look out for an array of seabirds, native to the area. Later, check in to your hotel in Galway and savour dinner at the hotel.
