Arrive Puerto Maldonado, Amazon Lodge
At the conclusion of your escorted journey, fly from Lima to Puerto Maldonado, a city nestled in the Peruvian Amazon at the confluence of the Tambopata River and the Madre de Dios River. From here, partake in a guided tour through the Inkaterra Butterfly House before boarding a motorised canoe for a short cruise along the Madre de Dios River to your incredible Amazon accommodation. After checking in, discuss your individual interests with expert English-speaking guides to arrange all excursions during your stay.

Over two days, you’ll choose the activities that interest you the most. Perhaps walk along the rainforest treetop canopy to observe the jungle from a unique perspective. You may also like to cruise the Madre de Dios River to Lake Sandoval or Gamitana Creek, where monkeys, birds, tortoises and caiman roam freely. Maybe join one of the local village tours or a rainforest by night tour.Daily :
Amazon Lodge, Puerto Maldonado, Quito
Stop at the Rescue and Rehabilitation Center for River Mammals to see where biologists and volunteers care for the endangered Amazon wildlife.
Farewelling the Amazon rainforest, transfer to the airport in Puerto Maldanado, for your flight via Lima to Ecuador’s capital, Quito. On arrival in Quito, transfer to your hotel.

Quito, Galápagos Islands (Baltra and Santa Cruz Islands)
Fly to Baltra Island in the Galápagos archipelago. On arrival, transfer to your ship and enjoy a talk on the landscapes you are about to discover. After lunch, set out cruising to the fascinating Cerro Dragón region, also known as Dragon Hill. Here, take a leisurely stroll along a walking trail, passing brackish-water lagoons frequented by shorebirds and ducks. Following the track inland, relish views of the bay and western islands before returning to the vessel to relax and enjoy dinner on board.

Galápagos Islands Cruise (Isabela and Fernandina Islands)
After breakfast, explore the coast of Punta Vicente Roca on Isabela Island by panga (a Zodiac-like boat). A nesting place for flightless cormorants, Galápagos penguins, blue-footed boobies, and green sea turtles, you may choose to snorkel along the cliffs (weather dependent). After lunch, continue to Fernandina Island, the youngest and westernmost island of the archipelago. A walk through the lush mangrove vegetation will lead you to colonies of sea lions and iguanas that live along the sheltered coast line.Daily :
Galápagos Islands (Santa Cruz Island)
Disembark your ship on Santa Cruz Island at Puerto Ayora and visit the Charles Darwin Research Station. Meet with a team of conservationists as you tour the facility and see giant Galápagos tortoises, as well as a range of other native creatures.
The afternoon is yours at leisure. Perhaps go hiking, biking or kayaking in Tortuga Bay, before returning to your ship.Daily :
Galápagos Islands (Floreana Island)
This morning, take a panga ride alongside Floreana Island, before continuing to Baroness Cove. Land at Post Office Bay, home of the historic barrel that has served as a post office for over two centuries. See where postcards are traditionally left from other vessels and perhaps leave your own for future attendees. Later, board a glass-bottom boat to explore the underwater wonders around Champion Islet – known as the one of the best snorkelling spots in the archipelago. Continue onwards to Punta Cormorant, where a wildlife walk provides one of the highlights of your journey. Keep an eye out for flamingos, pintail ducks and sea turtles.Daily :

Disembark your ship at Baltra Island and transfer to the airport for your flight to Guayaquil. Enjoy this evening at leisure.
