Vancouver, Great Bear Lodge
Today, fly from Vancouver to Port Hardy, where you’ll board a seaplane this afternoon. Fly across Queen Charlotte Strait and arrive at Great Bear Lodge with time to settle in before your first bear viewing session. Return to the lodge for dinner and a presentation by the resident biologist about bears’ unique ecology.
Stay: Three Nights, Great Bear Lodge
Daily :Great Bear Lodge
This morning, head out in search of grizzlies with your guide. A typical viewing session lasts around three hours. After lunch at the lodge, explore the surrounding area with your guide and perhaps join a popular rainforest walk. Mid-afternoon, venture out again to watch for bears before dinner.

Enjoy more time to view bears. Later, take a boat trip or relax at the lodge.

After a day of bear watching, depart late afternoon by sea plane for Port Hardy.
Stay: Hotel assigned in Port Hardy
Daily :Port Hardy, Vancouver
This morning, transfer to Port Hardy for your return flight to Vancouver.
