Set off for a journey to Ba Ria and learn about the Battle of Long Tan, followed by a memorial service at Long Tan Cross, a memorial marking the site of the battle. Erected by the 6th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, it is in a rubber plantation. The afternoon is at leisure. Perhaps take a hike to the Christ the King Statue or the lighthouse for spectacular views.

After a leisurely breakfast, return to your accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City, or Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your onward flight.
