The Travelmarvel Story
Where it all started
In the 1980s Travelmarvel began in suburban Melbourne, Victoria, conducting short local shopping trips, ski tours, and journeys across the border into New South Wales. The company founder was Clyde Harding, a great entrepreneur and father of Peter Harding, who now owns Grand Pacific Tours. In 1996 Travelmarvel became part of the APT Travel Group.
Expanding the fleet and exploring new destinations
Over the years, Travelmarvel extended its touring to include travel to destinations such as Australia’s Flinders Ranges, the Red Centre, the Outback and Tasmania. Travelmarvel also provided budget tours to the North Island of New Zealand, opening the door to affordable overseas travel for many Australians.
