Arrive Iquitos (Peru), Nauta, Amazon Cruise
At the end of your escorted journey, fly from Lima to Iquitos, gateway to the Peruvian Amazon. From here, a private vehicle will transfer you to the small riverside port town of Nauta, where the Delfin III awaits. After being welcomed on board, learn about the region you’ll be cruising through at an orientation presentation, before being treated to the first of many delicious meals in the ship’s restaurant tonight.

This morning, a skiff will deliver you to firm ground so that you can embark on a walk along the Fundo Casual jungle trail with your naturalist guide. Watch for the local wildlife and learn about daily life in this part of the Amazon. In the afternoon, your ship will start cruising along the Yanayacu and Pucate rivers through one of the best preserved zones of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. Here perhaps go for swim or paddle board, keeping an eye out all the while for the famous pink river dolphins that call this section of the waterway home.Daily :
After breakfast, embark on a skiff exploration along the Samiria River, where an abundance of wildlife hides in the deep rainforest. Watch for blue and yellow macaws, scarlet macaws, toucans, umbrella birds, monkeys, and capybaras, among other creatures. After lunch, you’ll head for Nauta Caño Creek, where you may like to go fishing for piranhas. As night approaches, your guide will take you on a night safari in search of caiman alligators and night birds.Daily :

Stop at the Rescue and Rehabilitation Center for River Mammals to see where biologists and volunteers care for the endangered Amazon wildlife.
Farewelling the river, disembark your ship and travel by private vehicle back to Iquitos. Transfer to the airport in Iquitos, for your flight via Lima to Ecuador’s capital, Quito. On arrival in Quito, transfer to your hotel.

Quito, Galápagos Islands (Baltra & Santa Cruz Islands)
Fly to Baltra Island in the Galápagos archipelago. On arrival, transfer to your ship and enjoy a talk on the landscapes you are about to discover. After lunch, set out cruising to the fascinating Cerro Dragón region, also known as Dragon Hill. Here, take a leisurely stroll along a walking trail, passing brackish-water lagoons frequented by shorebirds and ducks. Following the track inland, relish views of the bay and western islands before returning to the vessel to relax and enjoy dinner on board.

Galápagos Islands Cruise (Isabela & Fernandina Islands)
After breakfast, explore the coast of Punta Vicente Roca on Isabela Island by panga (a Zodiac-like boat). A nesting place for flightless cormorants, Galápagos penguins, blue-footed boobies, and green sea turtles, you may choose to snorkel along the cliffs (weather dependent). After lunch, continue to Fernandina Island, the youngest and westernmost island of the archipelago. A walk through the lush mangrove vegetation will lead you to colonies of sea lions and iguanas that live along the sheltered coast line.Daily :
Galápagos Islands (Santa Cruz Island)
Disembark your ship on Santa Cruz Island at Puerto Ayora and visit the Charles Darwin Research Station. Meet with a team of conservationists as you tour the facility and see giant Galápagos tortoises, as well as a range of other native creatures.
The afternoon is yours at leisure. Perhaps go hiking, biking or kayaking in Tortuga Bay, before returning to your ship.Daily :
Galápagos Islands (Floreana Island)
This morning, take a panga ride alongside Floreana Island, before continuing to Baroness Cove. Land at Post Office Bay, home of the historic barrel that has served as a post office for over two centuries. See where postcards are traditionally left from other vessels and perhaps leave your own for future attendees. Later, board a glass-bottom boat to explore the underwater wonders around Champion Islet – known as the one of the best snorkelling spots in the archipelago. Continue onwards to Punta Cormorant, where a wildlife walk provides one of the highlights of your journey. Keep an eye out for flamingos, pintail ducks and sea turtles.Daily :

Disembark your ship at Baltra Island and transfer to the airport for your flight to Guayaquil. Enjoy this evening at leisure.
